Priest Guide Leveling
Are you Looking to for a good Priest Guide Leveling? I know that there are hundreds of different sources of information on how best to level a Priest in Wow. Hopefully after leveling 2 Priests to L80 I will be able to give you some information in this Priest Guide.

What you need to keep in mind is that the best way to level a Priest in my experience is to do it in 2 phases. Phase one, beleive it or not will be Holy oriented. I know everyone says go shadow go shadow. While this is true for the end of the game. At the beginning (from L1 to L49) you are better off with a Holy Priest Orientation. Any good leveling guide should tell you this. The Second Phase will be done from L50 where you need to re-spec and then, yes focus on Shadow all the way. Once you reach L80 you can if you want become a healing priest for your guild
From L1 to L49 go for a Holy oriented Priest Build and assign the following points (7/27/3) as so:

Discipline Talent Tree
Twin Disciplines 5/5
Martyrdom 2/2
Holy Talent Tree
Healing Focus 2/2
Improved Renew 3/3

Then from L50 to L80 you need to change your Build and go towards a Shadow oriented build as so:

Ok, so the main part of Assigning your Talent points is now covered. What you need next is to know how to fight with your Priest. Below I will provide a fighting sequence that has worked quite well for me and you can include in your Priest Guide
Start the fight with: Smite, then follow it up with Mind Blast, Quickly cast: Shadow Word: Pain and go with Power Word: Shield to finish with Devouring Plague
When you level up and have achieved leveling your priest to level 50 then I usually do this sequence
Power Word: Shield > Vampiric Touch > Mind Blast > Vampiric Embrace > Shadow Word: Pain > Devouring Plague > Mind Flay
Again, there are many ways to fight as a Priest in WOW and to assign talent points. However this is something that has worked well for me so feel free to rip it off if you want. I know some might say that they have other specs and all but remember the only thing that matter is the end results = L80. When you use this guide you will get an unfair advantage over other players. This is the exact Guide I use to level all my classes. There are other excellent guides out there like the team idemise guide which some of my guildies use but for me Zygor guide is really cool and there is a free trial if you want to get your hands on.
I will show you how it works quickly. Basically the only thing you do is add it as an add on. Don’t worry it is just drag and dropping some folders into your Main Word of Warcraft folder on your computer! When you start playing there will a huge green arrow under your Priest Priest. The arrow will automatically point you in the direction you need to go as per the priest guide loaded. The Leveling guide will then tell you exactly waht you need to do every step of the way. For example it will tell you which quest to choose (important not to waste time running around for useless quests). The priest guide will tell you what to do, where to go, who to kill what items to get. No more Stupid mindless grinding, only highly optimized quests.
The Guide will tell you and give you information on your screen to what you need to do, such as
“Go to (67,52) and kill 8 Rogue Workers” etc
The arroww will tell you where to go, and it changes color depending on how far you are from the taget. Green arrow is close and red arrow is far. better yet under the arrow there is the distance in yards to the objective and aproximately how long it will take you to reach the destination, really Awesome. using such a guide is my Secret to leveling all my characters and ripping all the benefits at L80. It is the fastest way to Level your Priest. Best of all is that your Priest Leveling Build can be done for you automatically. The Leveling Guide will tell you and Show you as you level up where you should assign your Priest Talent Points.
